Mr.D.Suriya Narayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Since this writ petition is being disposed of, without passing any positive order affecting the interest of the respondents 4 & 5, notice to those respondents is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the first respondent to consider his representation dated 06.11.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for cancellation of UDR Patta given in the name of the fourth respondent, which was subsequently, transferred in the name of the fifth respondent.
3. According to the petitioner, the said UDR Patta which originally stood in his name, was wrongly transferred in the name of the fourth respondent, without issuing notice and giving any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner approached the first respondent and has given the above said representation seeking for cancellation of UDR Patta.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 4 &
5. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
