Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent police or their sub-ordinates not to harass the petitioner her family members in the guise of investigation.

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner and her family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a property dispute, it is for the parties to redress the same before the appropriate Civil Court and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case of this nature.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the property dispute and it is open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions is closed.
