Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to restore the electricity connection to the service connection bearing No.03063-003-175 stands in the name of petitioner situated at Old Door No.7/52, Andakapalayam, Vellanaipatti, Coimbatore District and consequently shifting the meter board from the inner wall of the room to the outer wall of the room.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for restoration of electricity service connection bearing No.03-063-003-175, which stands in the name of petitioner in the subject property.
2. Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties.
3. When the writ petition came up for hearing on 04.07.2025, this Court directed the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-TANGEDCO to take written instructions from the Assistant Engineer and directed the matter to be listed for hearing on 09.07.2025.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel produced the written instructions received from the third respondent. It is seen that the third respondent is in the process of collecting the documents from both sides and he will take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner and the fourth respondent. It is not necessary for this Court to go into the inter se dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent.
5. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to convey the decision to the petitioner and the fourth respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Index : yes/no 09.07.2025 ss To
