The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.01.2024 for the offences registered under Section 5(1),6,7 and 8 of POCSO Act, 2012 in Crime No.28 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2.It is stated that the petitioner held out a promise that he will marry the victim girl and had then sexually assaulted her. This Court perused the statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C of the victim girl.

3.The learned Government Advocate(crl side) submitted that the investigation has not completed..
