Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 11.08.2019 for grant of patta to petitioner's property measuring extent of 9 cents in S.No.401, Thandurai Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District within the Registration District of Chennai-South and Registration Sub-District of Avadi, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the second and third respondents to measure the property to an extent of 9 cents comprised in S.No.401, Thandurai Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District within the Registration District of Chennai-South and Registration Sub-District of Avadi, and to issue patta.

2. Heard, Mr.M.V.Seshachari, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Baladhandayutham, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the second respondent intended to measure the subject property today i.e. 21.12.2021 at 11.00 a.m..

4. Considering the same, the second and third respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2019 after measuring the subject property and, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
