ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 420 IPC in Crime No. not known of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that while petitioner was working as Post Master at Ekhunagar SO, Arakkonam Taluk, he misappropriated a sum of Rs.1,88,700/-. Hence, this complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with this case. The petitioner was dismissed from service, against which, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the higher authorities and the same is pending. Further, he would submit that the entire amount of Rs.1,88,700/- has been recovered from him.

4.Learned Government Advocate(crl.side) would submit that since the entire amount has been recovered, there is no need for custodial interrogation.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the entire amount has been recovered, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sholinghur, Vellore District, within a period of 15 days, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, concerned, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that, the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.
