The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial in C.C.No.159 of 2009, pending before the Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in C.C.No.159 of 2009 and earlier the 2nd respondent/accused has filed a quash petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., in Crl.O.P.No.15500 of 2010, but the same was dismissed by this Court on 03.09.2012. Thereafter, there is no progress in the trial, hence the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

4. Considering the submissions on either side, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumpudur to expedite the trial in C.C.No.159 of 2009 and complete the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
