Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records pursuant to the order in No.12/BCDFGISSSV/2019 passed by the second respondent and quash the same consequently produce the detenu Dineshbabu @ Bablu aged about 28 years S/o. Ramu, before this court and set him liberty and the detenu now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention dated 21.01.2019 in No.12/BCDFGISSSV/2019, detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1045 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 25.03.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
