Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 3rd Respondents for issuance of patta for the land measuring an extent of 2.50 acres, comprised in Survey No.713, situated at Bargur Village, Bargur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, within a time frame as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. The petitioner moved the third respondent with his representation dated 02.02.2021 for issuance of patta in his name in respect of the property in Sy.No.713 of Bargur Village, Bargur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2.Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for respondents 1 to 3.

4.Since the representation is a very recent one and since there might be others waiting in the queue for an hearing before the Tahsildar/third respondent, it is appropriate that this Court directs the Tahsildar/third respondent to hold an enquiry in the first week of June 2021(which is also incidentally after the conclusion of the General Elections to the State Legislative Assembly) after serving notice on all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of 8 weeks thereafter. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
