ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to quash the criminal proceedings in SC No.3 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge (PCR Cases), Thiruppur.

2. Today, the petitioners and the second respondent/ defacto complainant along with their respective learned counsel on record are present. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent is also present. The identities of the parties have been verified. They have submitted that the dispute between them has been amicably settled. They have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 27.03.2017 signed by all the parties to that effect. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, second respondent / defacto complainant, about the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

factum of compromise and the terms of the compromise, she admitted the same. She also expressed no objection in quashing the criminal proceedings in SC No.3 of 2015 pending against the petitioners herein.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the criminal proceedings in SC No.3 of 2015 on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge (PCR Cases), Thiruppur is quashed.
