O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to settle the interim compensation awarded by the first respondent in Victim Compensation No.2/2022 (Old No.14/2022) dated 10.06.2022. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made claim for her husband's death before the first respondent and by order dated 03.06.2022, the first respondent awarded interim compensation of Rs.3 Lakhs, however, the said amount has not yet been paid to the petitioners. Hence, this writ petition.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the interim compensation in respect of the first petitioner has already been deposited in the name of the first 2/4

petitioner, however, with regard to the interim compensation pertaining to the minor petitioners, the Authority have to verify the account details and after verification, the same would be deposited, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In view of the above, this Court directs the third respondent to deposit the interim compensation pertaining to the minor petitioners, namely, petitioners 2 and 3, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to provide the Bank details to the third respondent so as to enable the third respondent to deposit the amount. 5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
