This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.06.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. On a reading of the complaint, it essentially appears to be a dispute between landlord and tenant and therefore, no positive direction can be given to the police.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was assaulted yesterday by the opposite party. If that is so, the petitioner is entitled to give a fresh complaint along with wound certificate. On such complaint being filed, the same shall be enquired into by the respondent police in accordance with law.
