Petitions praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to (i)modify the condition improsed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.9214 of 2017 in Crl.R.C.No.982 of 2017 by its order dated 25.07.2017 by this Hon'ble Court. (Crl.MP.No.10924/2017) (ii)extend the time granted to the petitioner for a further period of four weeks to comply with the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.9214/2017 in Crl.R.C.No.982/2017 by its order dated 24.07.2017.(Crl.MP.No.10925/2017) Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.I.C.VASUDEVAN, Advocate for the petitioner (in all the petitions) and of the court made the following order:- These petitions have been filed to modify the order of this Court dated 25.07.2017 regarding the quantum of amount directed to be deposited and also to extend the time given by this Court in the said order for making such modified amount. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is only an agricultural coolie and therefore, out of his meager income, inspite of his best efforts, he is not able to mobilise the fund to the extent of

Rs.2,00,000/- in order to comply with the condition imposed by this Court dated 25.07.2017. Therefore, the learned counsel would state that if some modified/reduced amount is directed to be paid with some reasonable time, the petitioner would comply with the same.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the order dated 25.07.2017 made in Crl.M.P.No.9214 of 2017 is modified as follows: "

The substantial sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended, on condition that the petitioner shall deposit 25% of the cheque amount within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order to the credit of S.T.C.No.213 of 2012, on the file of Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court) No.II, Erode."

With these modifications, these petitions are disposed of. -sd/- 31/08/2017 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
