This petition is filed to condone the delay of 44 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.R.Raman Lal, learned Additional Advocate General, assisted by Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioner.

Despite notice having been served upon the respondents and the names and addresses having been shown in the cause-list, none appears before this Court.

The delay is 44 days. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 44 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.
