ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a mandamus, directing the first respondent to provide new EB meter and new service connection in the petitioner's name towards the existing EB Service Connection No.404-008-547.

When the matter was taken up, the learned standing counsel for the respondents submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous, since yesterday evening (7.2.2019), the respondents have granted the prayer by effecting the electricity service connection in respect of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the said statement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
