ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of transfer.

2. Subsequently, the petitioner, Mr.R.Jeganathan has since retired from service. Therefore, the learned Counsel for the respondent submits that nothing survives in the matter.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that if there is any grievance still left, liberty should be given to him to make fresh representation or to come by way of fresh challenge.

4. Since the Writ Petition is filed only challenging the order of transfer, once the petitioner attains the age of superannuation, nothing survives in the matter and as such, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having infructuous. If the petitioner has got any grievance with regard to any other matter, it will be open for him to make a representation in that regard, for which, not even a liberty is necessary from this Court. 27.11.2023 (1/2) Index : yes 2/4
