ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 20.12.2021 passed by the second respondent, thereby rejected the request made by the petitioner seeking employment as Lab Assistant.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The second respondent issued notification in Na.Ka.No.2868/A1/2015 calling for open application to fill up 41 posts of Lab Assistant, on direct recruitment. The petitioner had applied for the said post and in the written examination, he had scored 59 marks. He belongs to SC category. In order to select a candidate to the post of Lab Assistant under SC category, the cut off mark was fixed as 118. Therefore, the petitioner was not selected to the said post. Now, the petitioner sought for answer sheet for the examination conducted in the year 2015.

4. A perusal of the counter filed by the second respondent revealed that the petitioner had scored only 59 marks and as such, he was not selected to the

said post. That apart, the petitioner failed to implead the Government as necessary party in order to seek answer sheet.

5. As stated supra, the petitioner had appeared for the written examination in the year 2015. After a period of seven years, the request made by the petitioner seeking answer sheet cannot be considered and this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
