Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the Final Answer Key dated 31.01.2020 issued by the first respondent pertaining to an exam conducted for selection to the post of Civil Judge and quash the same in so far as it relates to the answer for the question numbers 2, 35 and 39 are concerned after considering the petitioner's objection and award appropriate marks for the petitioner and consequently directing the first respondent herein to permit the petitioner to participate in the Main Examination which is scheduled to be held on 28.03.2020 and 29.03.2020.

JUDGMENT

( Delivered by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for High Court, Madras.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that three questions viz., Question Nos.2, 35 and 39 posed in the preliminary examination have been correctly answered by the petitioner, whereas, he has not been awarded marks apparently on the ground that the key answers are different.

3. We have called upon learned counsel for the High Court to inform us about the status of objections having been raised in respect of all the three aforesaid questions and learned counsel for the High Court informed that the said objections were considered in detail and vide Resolution dated 20.12.2019 all the objections in respect of the aforesaid three questions were rejected holding that the key answers, as uploaded, are the correct answers. The relevant questions and answers and the details regarding the aforesaid objections have been placed before this Court.

4. Having perused the same, we are satisfied that a transparent process for considering the objections has been followed and therefore, no case is made out under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

5. The writ petition is accordingly, consigned to records. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
