Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action in accordance with law for removal of encroachments in Kadaladi Kunathur Village canal and Cheyyar river Survey Nos.1101, 1102, 1103, 1104 and 1105 and 1033 all situate at Kadaladi Kunathur Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) At the outset, relying upon the written instructions dated 21.07.2025, learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the action initiated against the encroachment has been brought to its logical conclusion by removing those encroachments, except one.
He submits that attempts would be made to remove the one last encroachment within a period of three days as stated in the letter dated 21.07.2025.
2. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3, we are not inclined to push it further in the matter.
3. Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
