to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to regularize the services of the petitioners from their initial dates of appointments till 01.06.2006 for counting the service for the purposes of seniority and for the purposes of selection grade and special grade. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to regularize the services of the petitioners from their initial dates of appointment till 01.06.2006 and for counting the services for the purposes of seniority, selection grade and special grade. 2.

When the matter is taken up for consideration today, it is brought to the notice of this Court by Ms.Akila Rajendiran, learned Government Advocate that the very same issue has come up for consideration before the learned Division Bench of this Court, and all the writ petitions filed seeking identical relief stood dismissed by an order dated 17.08.2021 in Rev.Apln. No.60 of 2020 in W.A.No.3904 of 2019 and batch and contended that, this writ petition is also liable to be dismissed. 3.

However, Ms.Suneetha, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioners submitted that the said order dated 17.08.2021 passed in Rev.Apln. No.60 of 2020 in W.A.No.3904 of 2019 and batch has been carried in a appeal before the Hon'ble Apex Court vide S.L.P.No.2897 of 2022 and the same is pending for consideration before the Hon'ble Apex Court and therefore, seeks liberty to revive this writ petition in case if the said S.L.P. is allowed in future.

Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is fully convinced that the relief sought in this writ petition is liable to be rejected in the light of the orders passed by the learned Division Bench in Rev.Apln .No.60 of 2020 in W.A.No.3904 of 2019 and batch dated 17.08.2021.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are granted liberty to seek revival of the writ petition in the event if the S.L.P.No.2897 of 2022 is allowed and the order dated 17.08.2021 passed by the learned Division Bench of this Court is interfered with by the Hon'ble Apex Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed. No costs.
