Crl.MP.No.3540 of 2021 in Crl.RC.No.875 of 2019 P.VELMURUGAN.J This petition has been filed for extension of time to complete the investigation and lay a charge sheet as directed by this Court in the above revision.

2.This Court has given the said direction on 30.08.2019 and it is seen that more than one and half years has passed and by this time, the authorities should have completed the investigation and should have filed a charge sheet. Hence, this Court is not inclined grant extension of time.

3. However, considering the interest of the investors and since the public money is involved in this case, this Court grants a further period extension for three months. The Investigation Agency is directed to complete the investigation within the extended time, failing which the Officers of the Investigating Agency, Personally will be held liable and it is made clear that no further time will be extended.
