O R D E R

The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2012, with regard to cancellation of Gun license issued to the respondents 3 and 4.

2. The case of the petitioner is that due to previous enmity, the respondents 3 and 4 and their henchmen entered into the house of the petitioner, brutally attacked and threatened her with gun point. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the Inspector of Police, Kallakurichi Police Station, which was registered as FIR in Crime No.560/12 for the offences under sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC and the same is pending. Despite the same, the respondents 3 and 4 are continuously threatening the petitioner, which compelled https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

her to make a representation dated 04.06.2012 to the respondents 1 and 2 requesting to cancel the gun licence issued to the respondents 3 and 4. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Considering the limited prayer made in this writ petition, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2012, if not already considered, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
