Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records of the commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai, the 2nd respondent herein in connection with the Detention order No.886/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 27.12.2019 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to produce the detenu Prasath, age 31 years, Son of Alex detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The matter was heard through "Video Conference". 2.The Petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No.886/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 27.12.2019 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition stating that the advisory board has revoked the detention order passed against the detenu. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt. No.819, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 17.02.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
