The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.39 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1-A), 4(1)(aaa), 4(1)(g) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

2. It is stated that the respondent had seized 200 litres of ID Arrack and 100 litres of fermented wash. The F.I.R. was registered as against the petitioner and A2 on 29.01.2023.

3. However taking into consideration, the substantial quantity of illicit Arrack, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 20.02.2024 rjr https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
