This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 08.06.2023 wherein the petitioner is claiming to be a victim and she wants her statement also to be recorded.

2. Heard Mr.S.Sathyaraj, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that even though the final report has been filed in Crime No.16 of 2022 before the TNPID Court, Chennai, further investigation was sought for and the same was also permitted by an order dated 20.01.2023. In the course of further investigation, the statement of the petitioner will also be recorded u/s.161 Cr.P.C. since the petitioner also claims to be a victim.

4. In the light of the above stand, the grievance of the petitioner will be sufficiently taken care.
