This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 2nd Respondent's proceedings ROC.No.34658/C3/2012, dated 11.07.2012 and quash the same as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to promote the Petitioner as Deputy Director (Personnel). 2.Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner as well as the contesting private party, whose promotion was challenged were retired from service and hence the prayer in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. 2/4

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
