ORDER

The writ petition is filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct an enquiry and to take action against the 5th and 8th respondents on the written representations made by the petitioner on 07.02.2024 and 24.07.2024 within a stipulated time.

The case of the petitioner is that one Mr.Thanikachalam, who is working as Secretary in the fourth respondent society committed fraud and misappropriated the funds of the society. Hence, the petitioner made written representations on 07.02.2024 and 24.07.2024 against the fifth to eighth respondents before the 1st and 2nd respondent and made request to conduct enquiry and take action against the fifth to eighth respondents. 3.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 5 to 8 have misappropriated the Society's money in collusion with one Mr.Thanikachalam, who was working as Secretary at the 4th respondent society.

In this regard, the petitioner given the above said representation but no action has been taken by the respondents 1 and 2, till date.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representations of the petitioner dated 07.02.2024 and 24.07.2024 will be considered by the respondents 1 and 2 within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 6.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 7.

The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to dispose of the above said representations of the petitioner dated 07.02.2024 and 24.07.2024, after giving due notice to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 5 to 8, opportunity of personal hearing, to consider the documents filed by both the parties and pass appropriate orders on merits, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the enquiry, if anything is found against the respondents 5 to 8, the first respondent shall proceed against them in the manner known to law.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
