ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed against the order dated 30.06.2014 passed in I.A.No.71 of 2013 in O.S.No.150 of 2012 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Tiruvottiyur, Tiruvallur District and permit the petitioner to deposit in the Court, the jewels, which are described in the schedule to the petition.

2. When this matter came up for hearing on 12.10.2020 before this Court, the learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and the suit also has been disposed of and hence, nothing survives in this Civil Revision Petition. On that date, since there was no representation for the petitioner, this Court had directed the Registry to call for a report from the concerned Court with regard to the status of the suit in O.S.No.150 of 2012. Accordingly, the Registry had called for a report from the concerned Court. The learned District Munsif, Thiruvottiyur, by the letter dated 19.10.2020 has stated that the suit in O.S.No.150 of 2012 was dismissed on 29.01.2017 as settled before the Lok Adalat. 2/4

3. Recording the aforesaid facts, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
