O R D E R

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2016 seeking for initiating disciplinary proceedings against the third respondent for non-furnishing of the information under the Right to Information Act, 2005, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to filing of this Writ Petition, the third respondent, against whom, disciplinary proceedings was sought to be initiated, retired from service and hence the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and therefore nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
