This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the proceedings in MC.No.246 of 2023 on the file of learned Additional Principal Family Judge, Coimbatore to learned III Additional Family Court at Chennai.

This Court has heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

The main ground on which the transfer has been sought for is that the petitioner has to take care of his old parents and that he is not in a position to travel to Coimbatore every time to attend the proceedings in MC No.246 of 2023.

The main ground that has been raised by the petitioner may not be sufficient to transfer the proceedings. The petitioner can always

move an application before the concerned Court for a permission to be represented through a counsel and the same can be considered by the concerned Court and the petitioner can be made to appear before the Court as and when required. Except giving this liberty, no further orders can be passed in this criminal original petition.
