ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to initiate appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2023 within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he made a representation dated 03.11.2023 along with his mother to the respondents herein regarding correction of entry in the Patta. But the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since this writ petition is filed seeking a simple writ of mandamus to consider the representation, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2023 and issue notice to the petitioner and to the adjacent land owners of the four boundaries of the 2/5

subject land and to the persons whose names are found in the Patta and also to the rival claimants/interested parties/objectors if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs. 14.02.2024 ksa-2 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No 3/5
