The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authorities to consider the reference presented by the petitioner dated 04.06.1990 for the purpose of being referred to the civil court to decide the adequacy of compensation in Award in L.A.O.P.No.27/1994 dated 24.11.2006 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Puducherry.

2. When the matter is called, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

writ petition has already become infructuous since SubCollector (Rev) South-cum-Land Acquisition Officer has made a reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act for deciding the quantum of compensation to the District Court, Puducherry on 28.7.2014 itself.

3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
