This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the First Information Report based on the report dated 22.04.2016 of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 22.04.2016, it is seen that the petitioner was doing interior work with the opposite party from whom some money is due. The dispute is essentially contractual in nature. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the police to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner. Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law.
