19.04.2013 after setting aside the proceedings of the third respondent by usurping powers to the exercised by the first respondent made in C.No.A3/9225/2013 dated 10.07.2013, contrary to the order passed by this Court made in W.P.No.11312 of 2013 apart from cancelling the order passporting the petitioner to Armed Reserve, Nagercoil by the third respondent and the VRS application dated 09.07.2013 forcibly obtained by the fourth respondent by threat and coercion.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to allot light duties in the Police Radio Branch (Maintenance) at Nagercoil.
2. Pending the Writ Petition, the petitioner was imposed with a punishment of compulsory retirement which is also under challenge in another writ petition. In view of the subsequent award of punishment, no effective orders can be passed on the petitioner's request for allotment of light duties. 2/4
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
