This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Team-32, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai - 600 007 (2nd respondent herein) to expedite the investigation in crime No.199 of 2019 and to file a final report.

2. No representation for the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the case has been registered only in the year 2019 and the case is relating to the offence under Section 420 IPC and that the case is at Calcutta and he requested to direct the respondents to complete the investigation and to file a final report after completing the investigation as early as possible.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report as early as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
