By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. The prayer in the writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Public Health Maestri / Sanitary Maestri in the third respondent selection grade Town Panchayat.

filling up the post of *Sanitary Supervisors, the petitioners' name will be considered by the Selection Committee and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
