..Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023 praying to relax the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.M.P.NO. 143 of 2026 in the order copy Para 5(8) that the petitioners shall appear and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am and 5.00 pm for the period of thirty days by an order dated 23.01.2026 in Crime No. 22 of 2026 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kavundapadi Police Station, Erode District. ORDER

Earlier, the trial Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners herein in Crl.M.P.No.143 of 2026 vide order dated 23.01.2026, wherein, the relevant Para No.5(8) which reads as follows:-

"that the petitioners shall appear and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am and 5.00 pm for thirty days from the date of release on bail".

After complying the above said condition for some period, as ordered by the trial Court, the petitioners have come forward with the present petition seeking modification of the said condition.

2.I have also gone through the allegations made in the FIR and other connected materials. Hence, I am of the view that this Court is inclined to modify the conditions imposed on the petitioners in Crl.M.No.143 of 2026, vide order dated 23.01.2026 by the learned II Additional District Judge, Erode, wherein, the relevant Paragraph No.5(8) which reads thus:- "that the petitioners shall appear and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m and 5.00 p.m for a period of one week from today and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation".

3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. 10.02.2026 MSM
