The Civil Revision Petition has been preferred against the order dated 20.01.2012 passed in I.A.No.2754 of 2011 in O.P.No.1347 of 2006, by the learned Judge, Principal Family Court, Chennai.
2. Today when the Civil Revision petition came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is present and 1/3
made a submission that originally I.A.No.2754 of 2011 has been filed by the petitioner seeking the relief of granting permanent custody of his minor child namely Sriram. The learned counsel further submitted that when at the time of filing the application, the child was a minor and now he attained majority. Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner becomes infructuous. Further, the learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel, this Civil Revision petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
