This petition has been filed to transfer of investigation in Crime No.120 of 2017 from the file of 1st respondent and transfer the investigation to the 2nd respondent Inspector of Police, CBCID, Chennai and investigate the case and file final report before the appropriate Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that this is a case of self-fallen from the two wheeler and registered the case in Crime No.120 of 2017. Now, the 1st respondent is about to complete the investigation and therefore, at this stage transfer of investigation would not serve any purpose.

3. Therefore, considering the above said submission, this Court is not inclined to transfer the investigation from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the file of 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent Inspector of Police, CBCID, Chennai.

However, the 1st respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of Eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
