O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 06.07.2020 thereby this Court directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.162 of 2018.

2. The respondent filed a status report stating that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.162 of 1/3

2018 for the offences under Sections 454 and 380 of IPC as against unknown persons. The allegations are that when the petitioner's mother went out of the house, the house door was broken up and found that about 50 sovereigns of gold articles, 1 1⁄2 kg of silver articles along with cash of Rs.30,000/- were stolen.

3. On investigation, the respondent investigated the neighbours and other persons in and around the house and till today, they could not able to fix the accused. Therefore, they are about to close as 'undeducted one' at present and whenever the accused is secured, it would be open for investigation.

4. Recording the said submission, the contempt petition is closed. However, the respondent is directed to take appropriate steps to find out the accused in Crime No.162 of 2018 and to proceed with the case in accordance with law.
