Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 08.05.2015 within a time stipulated by this Court, thereby provide Police protection to the petitioner to construct compound wall in the patta land situated at Plot No.12 & 13, Jerusalem Nagar, Irubuliyur Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengalpet Village, in Survey No.9/1A1A1A at measuring about 2 grounds and 1122 Sq.Ft (5922 Sq.ft).

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 08.05.2015 within a time stipulated by this Court, thereby provide Police protection to the petitioner to construct compound wall.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection for constructing of compound wall. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
