Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to furnish the petitioner a copy of the Adangal Extract with respect to Survey No.94/1B situated at Kallabiranpuram Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprised in Patta No.856 on the basis of the petitioner's advocate notice dated 20.08.2018. The petitioner seeks for Mandamus directing the respondent herein to furnish a copy of the Adangal Extract in respect of the property at Survey No.94/1B, Kallabiranpuram Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprised in Patta No.856, based on the petitioner's advocate notice dated 20.08.2018.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said request has not been considered by the respondent so far.

This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's advocate notice dated 20.08.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
