ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's Patta application dated 24.06.2019 and issue Patta in the name of the petitioner pertains to the land situated in Kancheepuram

District now Chengalpet District, originally Chengalpet Taluk now Thiruporur Taluk, Thaiyur - B Village, comprised in S.No.1401/7, S.No.1401/7A, New S.No.1401/7A1 and S.No.1401/7B in 'Vinoth Nagar' Layout Plot No.1 measuring 3160 Sq.ft and Plot No.2 measuring an extent of 2160 Sq.ft totally measuring an extent of 4560 Sq.ft.

2. Mr.T.Cheziyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in S.No.1401/7, S.No.1401/7A, New S.No.1401/7A1 and S.No.1401/7B in ' Vinoth Nagar ' layout, Plot No.1, measuring an extent of 3160 Sq.ft, and Plot No.2 measuring an extent of 2160 Sq.ft, totally measuring an extent of 4560 Sq.ft, situated at Kancheepuram District, now Thiruporur Taluk, thaiyur - B Village. Petitioner had acquired the above said property by a registered Sale Deed dated 28.08.2008 in Document No.6622 of 2008 on the file of SRO, Thiruporur. Hence, petitioner made a representation on 24.06.2019 before the second respondent for issuance of patta in his name for the above said property. However, till date no action has been taken by the respondents on the representation made by the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for the above relief.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2019 within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2019 will be considered by the second respondent within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2019, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order,

after affording an opportunity to the aggrieved persons.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
