Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent in connection with order made No.C3/D.O.No.01/2025, dated 08.01.2025 passed against the petitioner's husband Bala @ Balasettu, aged 54 years, S/o.Natesan, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.860, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 21.02.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands

dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
