ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take necessary action to implement the order of the 3rd respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that in the subject property, the Arundathiyar community have been residing for over 36 years, however, they had been denied a place of worship and basic amenities. After a great struggle and repeated representations, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Vridhachalam, has passed a reasoned order dated 22.07.2025 stating that out of the six vacant plots identified by the authorities, one plot was allotted to Hindu Arundathiyar Community for construction of temple and one plot to Christian Arundathiyar Community for construction of a Church and the remaining four plots was intended for public use. According to the petitioner, the respondents 4 and 5 are

denying to implement the said order. The petitioner has also addressed a representation to the 4th and 5th respondents on 25.08.2025 seeking to provide police protection and also to implement the order of the 3rd respondent dated 22.07.2025. But there was inaction on the part of the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also a perusal of the record shows that a copy of the order of the RDO dated 22.07.2025 has also been forwarded to the fifth respondent, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2025, and to take necessary action within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
