ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate into the matter and to file a final report in a stipulated period in Crime No.325 of 2014, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in Crime No.325/2014 and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
