This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to declare the Notification dated 05.01.2020 issued by the first respondent University inviting application for Recruitment of Teachers: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in thirty departments of the first Page No.2 of 5
respondent University and the Notification dated 13.01.2020 issued by the first respondent in respect of counting of past service for direct recruitment as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/University of Madras submitted that the first respondent is not going to recruit any person pursuant to the notification dated 05.01.2020. If any recruitment is going to be undertaken, the same will be done by issuing a fresh notification.
3. Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel for the first respondent, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 13.11.2024 (vm) Index :
