Prayer :- Criminal Appeal is filed under Section 374 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records and set aside the judgment dated 25.02.2013 in C.C.No.17 of 2008 on the file of XI Additional Special Court (CBI cases relating to Bankers and Financial Institutions, Singaravelar Maligai, Rajaji Salai, Chennai - 600 001) and acquit the accused.

This petition is filed to call for the records and set aside the judgment dated 25.02.2013 in C.C.No.17 of 2008 on the file of XI Additional Special Court (CBI cases relating to Bankers and Financial Institutions, Singaravelar Maligai, Rajaji Salai, Chennai - 600 001) and acquit the accused. 2.When this matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the appellant filed memo stating that during the pendency of this appeal, appellant died on 17.12.2018. The copy of the death certificate is also enclosed. Learned Special Public Prosecutor for C.B.I. cases also confirms the death of the appellant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the death of the appellant during the pendency of this appeal, Criminal Appeal in Crl.A.No.227 of 2013, is dismissed as abated.
