ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to Crime No.899 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.899 of 2016, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ooty, on 24.11.2016 itself and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. Since charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.899 of 2016, I am of the opinion that nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
