ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 14.05.2016 and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.372 of 2016 for offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 307 IPC for the injury caused by him to his wife, Kannammal. In order to set up defence, he has lodged a false complaint dated 14.05.2016.

4. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to register an FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner.
